Our family's stay at Casa Velha do Palheiro was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the dedicated staff, making us feel right at home. The hotel's tranquil setting, nestled in the hills above Funchal, provided a perfect retreat for our family to unwind and create lasting memories together.One highlight was enjoying an early dinner at the Palheiro Golf Clubhouse Restaurant after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. The picturesque views and delicious cuisine made it a delightful experience for the whole family. We also couldn't resist trying our hand at croquet on the hotel's lush lawns, adding a touch of classic British charm to our stay.For a unique adventure, we took a coastal excursion on the hotel's sports fishing yacht "Balancal," an experience that allowed us to admire the stunning natural beauty of Funchal from the sea.
